faq
Do you have a discord community?
We currently only have an internal discord for organising our games and keeping in touch with our players. If you want to stay up-to-date with our content we suggest following us on Twitch or checking out our instagram!
what time do you go live?
We go live around 8pm GMT / BST. We try to keep a consistent schedule but of course life can get in the way sometimes and we're often off at conventions or meetups!
why was brotherhood of the dice created?
Originally BotD was formed by a group of friends looking to keep in touch via TTRPGs. Then due to medical retirement, Dylath_Leen, decided to dedicate more time to the hobby, opening it out to more friends and creating a welcoming space where anyone is free to tell their stories and have fun with friends.
what do you use to run the streams?
Most of our GMs use a combination of discord for video calls and capturing cameras, OBS for stream setups and foundry for running the games. Each of our gms are incredibly creative and adapt their setups to suit the style of game they wish to portray.
where is botd based?
We are proud to have players across many locations, however, our players are predominantly based in the uk.
our gamemasters and players
having such a creative group of players and gms means a lot of us create outside of the botd channel. Whether it's streaming their own games, creating wonderful illustrations and map work, or creating content for fellow ttrpg enjoyers.here's a few of our talented folk who join the games.

Howdy! I'm homegrown on gaming and have gotten into TTRPGs more in recent years. I really enjoy immersing myself in the character so don't be surprised if you see some cosplay happening. I throw in banter and love making fun so my characters tend to make some 18+ jokes and bring light to situations.
If I'm not playing a TTRPG, I'm usually being a mother & wifu, streaming co-working on twitch or getting wrecked in some game.

I'm a huge fan of anything spooky, gothic or horror. When I'm not working my full-time role in the TTRPG industry, you can find me upside down, teaching aerial and pole fitness at her studio, Cosmic!

I discovered TTRPGs just over five years ago, and they quickly took over my life (in the best way). I’ve played a wide range of systems, from Call of Cthulhu and Fallout to Mutants & Masterminds and Blades in the Dark, but D&D will always hold the top spot for me. Outside of TTRPGs, my love of fantasy roleplay continues with a local LARP group.

Hi folks, I've been dabbling in TTRPGs for several years now starting with D&D 5E and eventually branching out to some Call of Cthulhu, Dee Sanction, Pirate Borg and many more. When I'm not playing TTRPGs I love a good puzzle game or video games with friends!

I've been playing tabletop games since the 80's and RPG's since the 90s, I like a good mix of fantasy, horror and sci-fi games, but have a special love for a good apocalypse. Outside of tabletop gaming I love Scotland, God & Arsenal FC.

Hi everybody. I've been a gamer and a GM for more years than I care to count and I still love it to this day. I have a love for non-standard RPG games and some favourites include: Mork Borg, Call of Cthulhu, Cthulhu Dark, Orbital Blues, Dune, War Stories and Conspiracy X.
When I'm not running or playing TTRPG's, I like to write stories or take part in living history, portraying a soldier of the US 1st Infantry Division.
